Life/Work Experience Counts
Memorize This Equation: Experience = Confidence.
Many returning students think they won't be able to keep up with "regular" students. Not so! First off, there's no such thing as a "regular" student, especially if you think that means younger! But there's more to it:
- Learning occurs in all areas of life, not just in school
- Confidence is a strong predictor of success
- Returning students are often more focused
The time you spent away from school may not have been focused on academics, but rest assured - your brain doesn't go on hold!
